While Smriti Irani has been trying to deliver her duties as Human Resources & Development minister for the past six months, she has failed to keep the commitments she made as an actress. As a result of this, T-series have finally decided to replace Irani in their next film, All is Well and will reportedly start shooting with a new actress in January.

A source told Mumbai Mirror that the film has to be completely reshot, owing to Irani's exit. Irani was supposed to play the role of Abhishek Bachchan's mother in the film.

Reportedly, Irani shot her bits in November 2013, however, the shooting took longer than expected. Soon after, Irani got busy with her political responsibilities and couldn't make time for further filming.

After she took over as a minister, the makers decided to scrap shoots in Shimla and Bangkok due to her busy schedule, and just wanted her to make time for the climax shoot. After six months of waiting around when that didn't happen, T-series finally decided to replace her.

The re-shooting and delays is likely to cost a lot but Bhushan Kumar of T-series says that there is no hard feelings about the cabinet minister quitting. In fact, he mentioned that the other cast members of the film have been supportive towards her, including actors like Bachchan, who tried to work his dates around, so that Irani can film the remaining parts of the movie. Director Umesh Shulka was also very supportive, said Kumar to Times of India.

However, it isn't just Irani who had been stalling the film's shoots. Reportedly, actor Paresh Rawal too could not give his time after taking over his political responsibilities as a cabinet minister this year.

The film is a romantic drama starring Asin and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles. The film also features Rishi Kapoor, who plays Bachchan's dad in the movie. Reportedly, the film is about a road trip that the father-son duo takes. The cast and crew are expected to resume shooting on January next year and the film is likely to release on 3 July, 2015.
