The praise for her action sequences in Baaghi is pouring in, and actress Shraddha Kapoor — who trained hard in order to perform the stunts — is understandably elated. When we met with the actress a few days before the film’s release, Shraddha said she wanted to push her boundaries with every new role she took up. Once you get to see the film, you will see that I have very little action in the film. Tiger has taken the cake. But whatever little action I could do, I am very excited that I got to do it,” Shraddha told Firstpost. Surprisingly, she credits the training she underwent for her dance film ABCD 2 (which co-starred Varun Dhawan) with helping her get ship-shape for the martial arts in Baaghi. “I didn’t have that much time to train (for Baaghi),” Shraddha explained. “I gave my best in whatever I could do in those few days. I actually credit my ABCD 2 training as that helped me in this film. It made my body a lot more receptive for training. The training for ABCD 2 was very challenging. My muscle memory, I think, became better at processing new information. I learnt a few techniques of kicks, punches, blocking for Baaghi — so that was very interesting to do,” the actress added. Incidentally, Shraddha has also recorded a song for the Baaghi OST and is hoping that she’ll get a chance to do a lot more of that. “I am enjoying singing my own songs. Every film I do, I hope that the director of the film gives me the opportunity to sing as well,” she told us. Well, at least with Rock On!! 2, Shraddha has got her wish. “I will be singing my own songs in Rock On!! 2,” said Shraddha. She is not ruling out the possibility of recording a music album some day. “The thought has crossed my mind but there is no time this year to do that. So there is a pause in that thought now,” she said. Shraddha has been part of a few sequels — apart from Rock On!! 2, there were Aashiqui 2 and ABCD 2. But the actress says that is just a coincidence. Ask her if there is any particular kind of film that tops her wish list, and she readily admitted, “I really want to do a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. I just want to be part of the kind of films he makes.”
