After the release of the controversial MSG- The Messenger of God, ‘godman’ Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh of Dera Sacha Sauda said he has already begun shooting the sequel of the film and is all set to release it by the end of June.

reported that only nine days of shooting is left and the sequel, MSG II, is almost ready to release. The film is reportedly based on true incident of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh trying to set up relief camp in order to help tribals in Rajasthan and bring back order in their corrupt system. In the film we will see Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh restore order and helped tribals get over their mahua addiction. The film will carry a social message of how the urban society too can give up such vices like alcohol and drug addiction. (

Courtesy: Facebook[/caption] The prequel of MSG II, MSG released on 13 February this year after the Appellate Tribunal cleared it. There were several objection to this film, with Punjab even banning the film. Various religious groups and organizations in both Punjab and Haryana had protested and demanded a ban on the ground that it was bound to cause communal tension. Incidentally the Dera Sacha Sauda chief has not just played the lead role in the film, but has also directed it along with Jeetu Arora. The prequel which made about Rs 150 crore was also responsible for a series of resignations at the censor board
