When Shilpa Shetty landed in trouble as brawl erupted in actress-owned Bengaluru nightclub

A video showing chaotic scenes at a Bengaluru nightclub owned by Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra had gone viral on social media, sparking fresh controversy and crowd safety concerns. The incident, which unfolded late Saturday night at Bastian Pub and Kitchen in Koramangala, captured patrons rushing out of the venue and a visibly tense atmosphere as staff and security tried to control the situation.

According to witnesses and social media posts, the disturbance began after a power outage and subsequent technical issues with music and lighting, which escalated into confusion. Clips shared online show people pushing past one another to exit the pub, with some reportedly slipping on the stairs amid the commotion. No official reports of serious injuries have emerged so far.

The alleged Rs 60 crore fraud case

Shilpa Shetty Kundra also denied recent allegations involving her and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, while also responding to legal trouble tied to a restaurant she part-owns in Bengaluru.

In a statement shared on Instagram, Shetty categorically rejected claims that the Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) invoked Section 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code against her and Kundra in a Rs. 60 crore fraud case, calling the allegations “baseless and motivated.” Shetty said the issues are being portrayed as criminal without lawful basis and noted that a Quashing Petition is pending before the High Court.
