The shooting of BBC’s hit series Sherlock’s third season was wrapped up on 1 September, 2013 and while the fans of the tv show are waiting with bated breath for its premiere, it seems there’s a long wait ahead. Neither BBC nor Sue Vertue, the producer of the show, have revealed any date. In fact, Vertue even stated in her Twitter account that the date hasn’t been finalised. https://twitter.com/suevertue/status/370492755812028416 The third season has been highly anticipated by the fans especially after the season 2 finale episode — The Reichenbach Fall — in which Sherlock Holmes fell to his death, but was shown to be alive in the last scene. Theories abound
about how Sherlock staged his death, but until the third season airs, everyone will just have to keep speculating. All we know for sure is that the first episode of Season 3 is titled “The Empty Hearse.” On September 1, Vertue tweeted a photograph, marking a wrap of the third season’s shooting.
