“Anil was scared the day the film began and also when it was released. He used to fear a lot. Boney Kapoor and him were scared about whether the film would work or not. ‘All of our money is at stake, the entire family’s. It will be all finished.’ So that fear was there. There was no certainty if it would work,” he recalled. About Mr.India Directed by Shekhar Kapur, Mr. India featured Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, and Amrish Puri in the lead roles. The film follows the story of a man named Arun Verma who gets hold of a device that can make him invisible. During this while, he meets a journalist Seema Sohni (played by Sridevi), and falls in love with him. However, then comes the entry of the criminal mastermind, Mogambo, who wants to conquer India. Arun will be seen using the device to fight back the enemies after one of the kids from his orphanage dies.
