It’s just five days away. We are talking about a couple that managed to keep their relationship a secret. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are currently the talk of the town as the duo are set to exchange wedding vows on 23rd June.
And the actress could be seen spending time with Iqbal and his family ahead of the big day. The picture was shared by Sinha’s sister-in-law Sanam Ratansi on her Instagram story, who’s a celebrity stylist.
But the actress’ father and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha seems to be a little upset with his daughter for not revealing her marriage plans to him, as per filmmaker and Lootera star’s uncle Pahlaj Nihalani. Speaking to Times Now, the filmmaker said, “Ha, but he can’t remain upset for long, not with Sonakshi. She is his laadli. Shaadi nahin attend karne ka koi sawaal hi nahi paida hota.”
He added, “As Shatruji said to you, aaj kal he bachche inform karte hain, permission nahin lete. Why should he be upset if Sonakshi is marrying the boy of her choice? Shatruji himself married a girl of his choice forty years ago. Even I chose my own life partner when I married my wife. One should not have unrealistic expectations from one’s children.”
“You must have spoken to him when he was out of Mumbai for almost three months due to elections. Bhabhiji must have known . She must have decided to tell him about it (the marriage) after his return. Now he is back in Mumbai and all is well between Sonakshi and her family,” continued Nihalani.
While the actress’ father Shatrughan Sinha has sealed his lips on this news, veteran actress Poonam Dhillon has confirmed the wedding of the Dabangg actress and said that she has received a lovely invitation.
“I wish Sonakshi all the very best. She has sent a lovely invitation. I have known her since she was a little girl. I have seen her entire journey. I pray to God she stays happy. She is a lovely warm very loving girl. So I wish her all the joy and happiness. Please keep her happy, Zaheer. She is a lovely girl. She is precious for all of us,” said Poonam while talking to Instant Bollywood.
