Shatrughan Sinha admits pre-wedding conflict with Sonakshi Sinha-Zaheer Iqbal: 'Whatever the stress has been...'

After recently posing with his would-be son-in-law Zaheer Iqbal, veteran actor and politician admitted there was a conflict between him and daughter Sonakshi Sinha and now all the stress has been resolved and they are completely okay.

“It is the wedding reception that we are all attending on the evening of June 23. No one from my family said anything about a wedding. Some media outlets have just been presuming things. Too much attention is being given to something that is a private family matter,” said the legendary actor while talking to Times Now.

“Shaadiyan sab ke ghar hoti hain. Pre-wedding conflicts are also common. We are all okay now. Whatever the stress has been sorted. Koi wanda nahi hai. Yeh sab hota hi hai har shaadi main. Just because she is Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, it doesn’t mean Sonakshi can’t have what she wants in life. Hum log bohot maza karenge June 23 ko,” he added.

Shatrughan and wife Poonam Sinha were snapped at midnight Friday while leaving Zaheer’s house. Earlier talking to the same portal, Shotgun Sr said, “Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It’s just the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I’m very proud of and immensely fond of. She calls me the pillar of her strength. I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn’t I and why won’t I?”

The Kalicharan actor said that his daughter ‘has every right to choose her partner’ and he completely supports her. Talking about the couple, he said, “Sonakshi and Zaheer have to live their life together. They look very nice together.”
