Shah Rukh Khan to do a cameo opposite Aishwarya Rai in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil?
Reports suggest that apart from Dear Zindagi and Raees, Khan will also be seen in a cameo role in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil as Aishwarya's love interest.
Shah Rukh Khan fans have much to look forward to this year. Reports suggest that apart from Dear Zindagi and Raees, Khan will also be seen in a cameo role in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil as Aishwarya's love interest.
In a curious co-incidence Aishwarya had also earlier made a special appearance in Shah Rukh's 2000 film Mohabbatein.
With this film the audience will see the popular director- actor jodi Karan Johar-Shah Rukh Khan coming back together after the 2010 film My Name is Khan.
The buzz is that the film is an unofficial remake of the 1977 Rishi Kapoor-Neetu Singh film Doosra Aadmi. SRK is said to be playing the role that Shashi Kapoor played in the original.
There has been no confirmation from the makers about the news.
The film may also be a comeback of sorts for the iconic pairing of Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan, who have not worked together since 2002. After giving successful films like Josh and Devdas, the actors stopped working together allegedly after the actress was replaced in four of Khan's films including Chalte Chalte. After the incident the actors have not been great friends and even today the actors are known to only share a cordial relation with each other.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, will be releasing on 28 October.
In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Firstpost actress Neetu Kapoor mentions, “My husband, late actor Rishi Kapoor never told me not to work, but he was a very possessive man, he wanted me to be home.”
Though the stardom era is coming to an end, the nostalgia and craze attached to the world’s greatest superstars, Shah Rukh Khan and Tom Cruise, makes us believe that some things don’t change.
While the concept of pan-India films has been a trending topic on social media for a while, many cine-goers have not observed the success of crossover films at the box office.
