The trailer of Zoya Akhtar’s much-awaited Netflix film, The Archies, is finally out, giving a sneak peek into the life of Riverdale. Making a sincere effort to give the best look to the coming-of-age film based on the beloved Archies comics, the film features a series of new faces, including Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor, among others. The trailer came like a breath of fresh air, leaving fans all excited about it. It has also grabbed the attention of Shah Rukh Khan, the star himself, and the father of Suhana Khan. Shah Rukh Khan took to social media handles and shared his reaction to the trailer. While penning a sweet note for the entire team, SRK described the film as based on a contemporary subject with timeless characters, as he went on to call it “very fable-like.” Playing with words quite impressively to describe the trailer, he wrote, “A contemporary subject with timeless characters #TheArchies… thrown into a world that is very fable like. Zoya has created such an innocent and pristine quality to the film….maybe just like our world could be with a more responsible outlook towards the environment. All the best to the entire team involved with this sweet and meaningful fun film!” The actor also shared the trailer on his Instagram and X handles.
As soon as the trailer was shared, many, including his daughter Suhana Khan, took to the comment section and shared their reactions. “love you,” Suhana wrote in the comments. Vedant Raina and Khushi Kapoor also added heart emojis to the post. Notably, this is not the first time the superstar has reacted to the film. Earlier, he also shared a glimpse of the film’s song ‘Sunoh’, calling it “quaint.” This is so quaint and beautiful the world of The Archies. Also my motivation line for today is ‘Trading my shoes in for wheels under my feet’!", he wrote on Instagram.
The Archies Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the trailer for _The Archies_ was recently unveiled. Two songs, including Sunoh and Va Va Voom, have also been released. While Agastya Nanda will be seen portraying the role of Archie Andrews, Khushi Kapoor will be seen as Betty Cooper and Suhana Khan will be seen as Veronica Lodge. Besides them, other actors, including Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, and Yuvraj Menda, also play prominent roles in the film. The film will be released on 7 December on Netflix.
