Shah Rukh Khan opts out of Sujoy Ghosh's film co-starring daughter Suhana Khan: Report

Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan were all set to unite for filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh’s film called King, an action-packed entertainer. It was all set to go on floors soon but now, a report says the Pathaan star has opted out of the project, however there’s no confirmation about the same. Sujoy Ghosh on working with SRK In an exclusive interview with Firstpost, when asked about his experience of working with the star on his directorial Badla (2019) that starred Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu, he had something to say. “Shah Rukh is totally involved in that role. Once you have given him the film, it is his responsibility to get the film to the audience which he does beautifully. The kind of marketing he does is excellent, he is incredibly sharp. He is wearing the producer’s hat very capably and beautifully,” said Ghosh. SRK and Sanjay Leela Bhansali to reunite? After Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, nobody knows which film Shah Rukh Khan will announce next. But a report by News18 says he’s likely to come on board for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s dream project Inshallah, which was earlier being made with Salman Khan. For the uninitiated, Alia Bhatt was signed as the leading lady. A source told the portal, “There have been several speculations about Bhansali’s next including Baiju Bawra and another Pan Indian multi-starrer film, but the director has no such plans and has already started working again on Inshallah. The filmmaker has already started the initial preparations and is planning to announce it officially by March. Bhansali plans to start shooting for the film as early as June.”
