Shah Rukh Khan finally breaks silence on Aryan Khan’s arrest, says, ‘When you think everything is good, life will...’

The King Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan enjoyed a phenomenal 2023 at the box office with Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki emerging global winners. The megastar was named Indian of the Year by CNN News18 at the award ceremony. In the event, _SRK_  addressed the tough times he and his family faced and what he learnt from them while opening up about his son Aryan Khan’s arrest. “The last 4-5 years have been a bit of a ride for me and my family. I’m sure for some of you also because of Covid. Most of my films flopped. Analysts started writing my death knells,” said the actor.

He presumably spoke about Aryan Khan’s arrest and added, “On a personal level, a bit of bothersome and unpleasant things also happened to say the least, which made me learn a lesson. That be quiet, be very quiet and work hard with dignity. When you think everything is good, suddenly out of nowhere, life will come and hit you.” He continued, “But this is the time when you need to be the hopeful, honest storyteller.” After accepting the award, the emotional SRK said, “I’d like to say something brash, I have kept my speech written because it is checked three to four times so that I don’t say something stupid and wrong, and I get picked on for it. But I still would like to say this, which is very, very brash,” He added, “I don’t just feel like the Indian of the Year, I feel, I’ve been the Indian of all the years gone by and I will be the Indian for the all the years to come. I am actually, ladies and gentlemen, the Indian for all ages.”
