Shah Rukh Khan clarifies he hasn't been approached by Karan Johar for film with Ranbir Kapoor

For a lot of Hindi film buffs, Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar continue to be Bollywood’s dream team. The two last worked together in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, in which Khan appeared for a cameo. Ever since the cameo, reports about them collaborating on another project have been doing the rounds. Khan, however, has denied involvement in any of Johar’s upcoming projects, as per DNA. Image from AFP.[/caption] It was being reported that the filmmaker had approached the actor for a film alongside Ranbir Kapoor. The two were supposed to play brothers in the movie, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was being considered to play Khan’s love interest. Apart from this film, there were rumours about the two actors being approached for an international project titled VIY: Journey to India. Khan denied being a part of any of these projects.  He reiterated that the last venture he was approached for by Johar was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Before that, the filmmaker pitched a film to him that was being produced under his banner. The film was eventually dropped because of being too expensive to produce and nothing could come out of it. The two have dished out films like Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna_,_ Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai among others. Khan is currently promoting his next outing, Jab Harry Met Sejal, with Anushka Sharma.
