Shah Rukh Khan, the Badshah of Bollywood and global icon, has officially joined the billionaire club and emerged as the wealthiest actor in the world with a net worth of $1.4 billion (Rs 12,490 crore).
On 1st October, The Hurun India Rich List 2025 confirmed SRK’s glorious milestone and highligted his supreme rise in the international stage by stating, “Bollywood’s Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan (59), joins the billionaire club for the first time with a wealth of INR 12,490 Crore."
His fortune has now surpassed several biggie and international stars including Taylor Swift ($1.3 billion), Arnold Schwarzenegger ($1.2 billion), Jerry Seinfeld ($1.2 billion), and Selena Gomez ($720 million).
In the list, SRK is followed by his business partner Juhi Chawla and actor-producer with a net worth of Rs 7790 crore. On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar and Amitabh Bachchan are in the third, fourth and fifth ranks with their respective net worths of Rs 2160 crore, Rs 1880 crore and Rs 1630 crore.
On the professional front, SRK will be next seen in King, which marks his reunion with Siddharth Anand after Pathaan. The action-thriller has faced a delay due to megastar’s injury while shooting.
“King’s team has hit pause on the shoot. Shah Rukh needs to rest it out for weeks before he can face the camera again. It is an action-heavy film, so the team doesn’t want to take a chance with his health,” said a report as per Mid-Day.
“The team is now chalking out the plan for the next schedule. Earlier, King was being pegged as a Gandhi Jayanti 2026 offering. That is not possible now; it may get pushed by months to have an early 2027 release,” the source added.
Apart from SRK, King also features Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal, Abhishek Bachchan, Abhay Verma and Arshad Warsi among others in key roles.
