Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt confirmed as first guests on Koffee with Karan Season 5
After all the speculation on who would be the first guest on the fifth season of Koffee with Karan, we hear it directly from the horse's mouth. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and actress Alia Bhatt will indeed be the first guests on Johar's popular talk show.
Karan Johar confirmed the news with snippets of the first episode on Twitter.

The actors will be making the appearance to promote their upcoming film Dear Zindagi. In the snippets we see Shah Rukh pulling Alia's leg saying that if he was to turn in to the actress, he would read newspapers daily.
Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to share a photograph from the show's set with Alia and Karan.

Alia Bhatt also shared the same picture on her Instagram account with the caption, "Koffee love with my favourite people. What a Zindagi :)"

Shah Rukh will be making an appearance on the show after one season as he did not feature in the fourth season of the TV show. His last appearance in the show was in 2011 during the third season.
The actor appeared in the opening episodes of the first two seasons of the show with his favourite leading ladies Kajol and Rani Mukerji, and now it will be Alia Bhatt to promote he film Dear Zindagi.
The film has been written and directed by Gauri Shinde and co-produced by Karan under his Dharma Productions banner.
Koffee with Karan season 5 will be aired on Star World and Star World HD from 6 November onwards.
