Seven-year-old toy reviewer Ryan becomes YouTube's highest earner after raking in $22 mn

Ryan, a seven-year-old who reviews toys on his channel Ryan ToysReview, has become the highest earning YouTuber, raking in a staggering $22 million for the year 2018. In third place is Dude Perfect which made $20 million. Beauty and makeup guru Jeffree Star, Canadian gamer Evan Fong and Swedish gamer Felix Kjellberg (aka PewDiePie), who has the most number of followers (72.5 million) on the platform also featured on Forbes’ list. Last year, Ryan had scored the eighth place in the magazine’s list. His earnings have doubled since then. Started in 2105 by his parents, the channel has over 17 million followers. As per Daily Mail, Ryan also has his own line of toys and apparel called Ryan’s world at retail giants Walmart and Target. Apart from Ryan, his twin sisters are also YouTube regulars as they often feature on a related channel called Ryan’s Family Review. According to the publication, Ryan was a passionate toy review-watcher before he decided to start his own channel. Last year’s top earner Daniel Middleton, the Minecraft gamer slid down to the fourth place in 2018.
