On his birthday, Salman Khan unveiled the teaser of his much-anticipated film Battle of Galwan. More than a birthday reveal, the teaser stands as a solemn tribute to India’s frontline soldiers and their indomitable spirit.

Salman Khan appears in one of his most commanding avatars yet, embodying an Indian Army officer with restrained ferocity and quiet authority. His weathered look, controlled aggression, and piercing silence speak louder than words, especially in the final moments where his unflinching gaze locks directly with the viewer, leaving a lasting impact.

Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit on Chinese media’s criticism

The Chinese media criticized the teaser for the way it depicted the war that happened over six years ago. And talking to Hindustan Times, the filmmaker had something to say on the same.

Pandit was quoted saying, “We are not surprised or shocked that the media in China has responded to Galwan film in such a way… If a filmmaker or production house decides to give depiction of confrontation of India and China, there is nothing wrong with it. I don’t think isse iski release par koi asar padega as far as release or collection is concerned.”

He added, “It must have been in the minds of the producers that because it is Galwan, China would react because it is a film that is exposing them. We have the right to make a film like this on the subject and tell the world that this is what China has done to our country.

“China is a country that has supported Pakistan, has created a lot of issues and problems for our country. Its a great thing that this film is made. If the film is good it will do well,” he stated.
