The film will star the actors of the Deol family — Dharmendra, Bobby and Sunny. Bobby is currently filming Race 3 with Khan, which is how the idea of having a special song featuring Khan struck him. A Mid-Day source tells reveals that although Bobby casually mentioned how awesome it would be if Khan and Dharmendra were to reunite, the former instantly agreed.

Director Navaniat Singh and Sunny are currently on the lookout for a music director to create the special track. The song will most probably be a peppy bhangra song.

Khan is currently busy with the Bangkok schedule of Race 3, after which the team will move to Abu Dhabi for the second leg. He also has his dates booked for the upcoming Da-Bangg tour scheduled to take place in Nepal. Therefore, with such a packed schedule, he is expected to take out a few days to shoot the track for Yamla Pagla Deewana 3.
