Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire continues its monumental run at the box office as it crosses Rs 500 crore mark globally. The visionary director, Prashanth Neel, in a recent interview, was asked about how the character of angry young man came to his mind, since he has been a huge fan of Salim-Javed and Amitabh Bachchan movies. Prashanth Neel confirms and says, “ Yes, I drew inspiration from that era for sure, but I also usually tend to write in a way where my hero has to be my biggest villain. I always make that a rule and then start writing. So probably that is how it reflects. At the time being, both the movies, both the characters they have similarities that they turn out to be the biggest villains. They have to look like it at least.”
