Prabhas, Prashanth Neel, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire took a historic start at the box-office when it collected approx. Rs 95 crore on day one. According to Sacnilk, the film has seen a massive drop on day two as it has minted Rs 55 crore on Saturday. While the budget of Salaar is expected to be between Rs 300-400 crore, the majority of the chunk has been taken by the cast, especially the lead actor Prabhas. As per the News 18 report, the Baahubali star has taken Rs 100 crore as his remuneration. On the other hand, Jagapathi Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran took Rs 4 crore each for portraying their characters. Lead actress Shruti Haasan charged Rs 8 crore for playing Aadhya while writer-director Prashanth Neel took Rs 50 crore as his fee. The film brings back Darling star Prabhas in his top-form element.
