If Sara Ali Khan has finished the first schedule of Kedarnath, her fellow debutante Jhanvi Kapoor is still waiting to start shooting for her Bollywood debut.

Interestingly, it was almost during the same time that news of Sara and Jhanvi’s big debut broke out. While Sara’s first film was officially announced a few months ago, Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath with Sushant Singh Rajput, Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi is still waiting for her opportunity to face the camera.

In fact, there were even rumours c laiming Sridevi was disappointed  with Karan Johar regarding the delay in the launch of Jhanvi’s debut movie, which is said to be a remake of Marathi blockbaster Sairat.

However, according to a report from Times Now , the Sairat remake is now ready to go on floors this December. After months of delay, it’s been streamlined for a launch next month.

Jhanvi has reportedly already started taking dance and acting classes, and will share the frame with Shahid Kapoor’s brother, Ishan Khatter in this movie which will hit the screens sometime next year. The release date has not yet been announced by Dharma productions.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, it is believed the first schedule of the Hindi remake will roll in northern India. Sairat was the first Marathi movie to reach the 100 cr mark. Shashank has already directed two successful films for Dharma: Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
