Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns: Irrfan red faced over playing Raja Bhaiya

Talk about coincidence, actor Irrfan Khan is called Raja Bhaiya in the film Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns and he isn’t too happy about it. The Telegraph reported that Khan as saying, “I am playing the role of a Raja Bhaiyya in the film. AFP[/caption] Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns also starring Soha Ali Khan, Mahie Gill and Jimmy Shergill, and directed by Timangshu Dhuliya is a sequel to the 2011 romantic thriller Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. The actor, in Lucknow to promote the film, found himself caught in a swirl of controversy over the real Raja Bhaiyya after the leader’s alleged involvement and resignation as minister over the murder of a cop, reported The Telegraph. Notorious Samajwadi Party politician Kunwar Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya was forced to submit his resignation to UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav after yet another case of murder was linked to him on Sunday. An FIR was filed against the Minister of prisons in the Akhilesh Yadav government, after he was accused of orchestrating and ordering the lynching and murder of Kunda DSP Zia-ul-Haq. Prior to his elevation as a state Minister, Raja Bhaiya had been in prison for five years during the Mayawati regime.
