After essaying the captain of the cricket team in the biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Sushant Singh Rajput has unveiled the poster of his new film Romeo Akbar Walter in which it looks like he is playing a spy, reports Hindustan Times. Titled Romeo Akbar Walter, it is no coincidence that the film’s acronym reads RAW — Research and Analysis Wing, India’s elite intelligence agency. Is he a hero? Or is he a spy? Sushant shared the look with the tweet, “2018 will be RAW. @RomeoAkbarWaltr @KytaProductions @VAFilmCompany @ajay0701 @bunty_walia #RAWFirstLook.”
The film is written and directed by Robby Grewal, the helmer behind MP3 - Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar, Aloo Chaat and Samay - When Time Strikes. Since Grewal already has directed films like the Sushmita Sen starrer Samay - When Time Strikes where she plays a detective trying to solve a serial murder case, we sure can expect this 2018 film to be a interesting thriller. Singh meanwhile has already essayed the role of the Sherlock Holmes-esque Bengali detective in the film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. No other details about the film are available online. Singh is also simultaneously working on projects Dharma Entertainment’s Drive and National Award winning filmmaker Sanjay Puran Singh’s Chanda Mama Door Ke.
