Ratna Pathak Shah on how Sarabhai vs Sarabhai boosted her career: 'People started noticing me'

During a recent interaction with the Humans of Bombay, Ratna Pathak Shah revealed that Sarabhai vs Sarabhai not only enjoys impressive acting but also impeccable writing and direction. Ratna Pathak Shah on Sarabhai vs Sarabhai When asked if playing Maya Sarabhai had any impact of her personal life, Ratna Pathak Shah replied, “My career as an earning actor, yes. After that, people started noticing me and giving me work. Before that, I was just somebody in the background, and Sarabhai had a great script. The writing is extraordinary.” Ratna Pathak Shah further added that while everybody talks about the acting in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, but it is the writing, the direction that made the programme work, along with the way it was presented by the producers and everyone. She was quoted as saying, “It was a show which was confident of itself. It came out with a bang. That made a difference.” Ratna Pathak Shah reunites with Rupali Ganguly Just a couple of days back, Ratna Pathak Shah bumped into her on-screen daughter-in-law Rupali Ganguly (Monisha Sarabhai) during a movie screening in Mumbai. During the event the co-stars also posed for a memorable picture. Rupali Ganguly even dropped the still on her official Instagram account. The photo in which these two embrace in a hug was captioned, “This precious connect…2nd pic she switched on the Mummyjee mode…I love you forever #ratnapathakshah."

All About Sarabhai vs Sarabhai The show revolves around an upper-class Gujarati family, the Sarabhais, consisting of Indravadhan Sarabhai (Satish Shah), Dr. Sahil Sarabhai (Sumeet Raghavan), Manisha Sarabhai (Rupali Ganguly) and Rosesh Sarabhai (Rajesh Kumar). Sarabhai vs Sarabhai aired between 2004 and 2006. Later in 2017, the makers came up with season two on Disney + Hostar. While the primary season included 70 episodes, the second season had 10 episodes.
