After that, people started noticing me and giving me work. Before that, I was just somebody in the background, and Sarabhai had a great script. The writing is extraordinary.” Ratna Pathak Shah further added that while everybody talks about the acting in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, but it is the writing, the direction that made the programme work, along with the way it was presented by the producers and everyone. She was quoted as saying, “It was a show which was confident of itself. It came out with a bang. That made a difference.” Ratna Pathak Shah reunites with Rupali Ganguly Just a couple of days back, Ratna Pathak Shah bumped into her on-screen daughter-in-law Rupali Ganguly (Monisha Sarabhai) during a movie screening in Mumbai. Sarabhai vs Sarabhai aired between 2004 and 2006. Later in 2017, the makers came up with season two on Disney + Hostar. While the primary season included 70 episodes, the second season had 10 episodes.
