Ranveer Singh will perform with Divine, Naezy at live concert of Gully Boy music launch on 24 January
As the Gully Boy release nears, the buzz for the movie is multiplying. The release of its two songs 'Mere Gully Mein' and 'Apna Time Aayega' has got everyone praising the lead actor Ranveer Singh's rapping skills.
To further showcase his skills and launch the music of the film, the makers of Gully Boy have decided to host a live concert at Byculla, Mumbai on 24 January, reports Mid-Day. Singh will share the stage with rappers Divine and Naezy as they croon to the songs from the film.
"It will be an electric evening. We are excited about the music launch as we will have our artistes performing at the gig. There is no other way to drop this album than to slam it live," said Gully Boy director Zoya Akhtar to Mid-Day. She further stated that the idea to host the concert was suggested by the producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.
While leading lady Alia Bhatt will host the event, rappers including D–Cypher, Beat Raw, D'evil, MC Altaf, Rahul Raahi, Nexus and SpitFire among others will hit the stage, reports Mid-Day.
Days ahead of its music launch, the makers have adopted a unique promotional strategy. They have gone ahead to do a massive graffiti campaign across various cities, which will help the masses with a chance to attend the grand event. Excel Entertainment tweeted about the terms and conditions, inviting the fans to be a part of the event.

Based on the life of underground street rappers, Gully Boy presents the rise of a rapper from the streets of Dharavi. Starring Ranveer as the street rapper and Alia Bhatt as his love interest, and Siddhant Chaturvedi and Kalki Koechlin in pivotal roles, the film is all set to hit the big screens on 14 February.
