Ranveer Singh wants to do Andaz Apna Apna 2, teases new project with Lootera director Vikramaditya Motwane

Ranveer Singh is currently promoting his upcoming cop comedy _Simmba_ , also starring Sara Ali Khan . The actors hosted a Twitter QnA #AskSimmba for his fans to promote his first film with Rohit Shetty. Most fans were interested in Singh’s future projects, including one who asked him whether he would ever star in a comedy film. YouTube screengrab[/caption] Singh has been a part of films like Dil Dhadakne Do and Bajirao Mastani, which did give him a chance to display his skills in the comedy genre but he has never been a part of a full-fledged comedy feature. When a fan quizzed him about the same, the actor replied that he was willing to be on board for such a project. He revealed that he would be interested in being part of a sequel to Andaz Apna Apna, which originally had Aamir Khan and Salman Khan in pivotal roles.

He also revealed that his film Lootera, also starring Sonakshi Sinha will not have a sequel but there is a collaboration with Vikramaditya Motwane in the pipeline.

Simmba will release in cinemas on 28 December. Singh will also be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy alongside Alia Bhatt, which will have its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival 2019 .
