Ranveer Singh reacts to Pankaj Tripathi's quirky new look in emerald velvet coat: 'I improved and you got...'

Pankaj Tripathi, the versatile actor of the entertainment industry, known for his simplistic lifestyle, amazed the netizens as he shared his new colourful and quirky look on Instagram in an emerald velvet coat.

Sharing a series of pics on Instagram, he wrote, “Ek nayi shuruwat (A new beginning). This is the beginning of something interesting. How’s the ‘vibe’? (Winking face and folded hands emojis). #EkNayaUpgrade (A new upgrade).”

Seemed to be an AI-generated picture, the Stree 2 star donned a black shirt under a long embroidered green coat and a red and golden dhoti, adding a cap and nagra to his attire.

While the post appeared to be a teaser for his brand collaboration, social media users were impressed by his drastic change in outfit. Ranveer Singh, who is known for wearing colourful, wild and quirky outfits, commented on the post, which read, “Arre!Yeh kya, Guruji?! Hum sudhar gaye, aur aap bigad gaye (Oh, what’s this, sir? I improved and you got spoilt)?” (Laughing face emojis).

For the unversed, Ranveer Singh and Pankaj Tripathi worked together in Gunday and ‘83. The latter was directed by Kabir Khan and was based on the heroic journey of the Indian Cricket team winning the 1983 World Cup under the leadership of Kapil Dev.
