Ranveer Allahbadia issues apology over 's*x' joke on India's Got Latent, but why should we listen to these desperate people hungry for views?

Popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia recently asked a contestant on ‘India’s Got Latent’ ‘Would you join your parents having s*x?’ and the video has gone viral on social media, leaving netizens furious.

A lawyer by the name of Sonu Nigam said, “He @BeerBicepsGuy is an absolutely vile man… He shamelessly tarnished his parents’ image in an online show. You are right, there is a cure for rotten crops but there is no cure for rotten breed. Save your children and future generations from such leeches.”

The podcaster has now issued an apology and said, “I shouldn’t have said what I said on India’s got latent. I’m sorry.” My comment wasn’t just inappropriate, it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry. Many of you have asked if this is how I want to use my platform. Obviously this is not how I wish to use it."

He added, “I am not here to give any context, justification or reasoning whatever happened. I am just here for an apology. I personally had a lapse in judgment, it wasn’t cool on my part. The podcast is watched by people of all ages. Don’t want to be the kind of person that takes that responsibility lightly. Family is the last thing I would ever disrespect.”

But why should we listen to these desperate bunch of people who can do anything for views? This apology is nothing but farce. No Bollywood celebrities are. going to ban this guy and his podcast. Everybody will forget what he said, and we will come back to square one. This is the best time to realize that these people do not deserve our time or energy.

But given the Hindi film industry functions, they will still continue to promote their movies on his podcast because they get numbers. How about filtering our content on social media? How about banning them completely so they do not spout vileness?
