Ranbir Kapoor's candour in AIB Podcast proves he is beyond a 'disarming product of nepostim'

Ranbir Kapoor says he is a disarming product of nepotism. That is all that was read from the over 45 minutes long All India Bakchod (AIB) podcast with the Jagga Jasoos actor. YouTube[/caption] The fact that he said this within the first two minutes of the video either hints that the decoders did not go beyond that or they are too obsessed with the N-word that has regained traction following Karan Johar , Varun Dhawan and Saif Ali Khan ’s dig at Kangana Ranaut’s remark at IIFA Awards 2017. Ranbir should be credited with much more than being a disarming product of nepotism. He should be lauded for his candour which was brought out by multiple veiled, yet telling, confessions. He admitted that it was a mistake on his part to turn producer with Jagga Jasoos given director Anurag Basu’s chaotic ways. Basu has also had a fallout with producer Rakesh Roshan in the past during the time of Kites. Ranbir elaborated more on Basu’s unhinged approach which also dominated the sets of Barfi!. “Since Barfi! worked, we managed to forgive dada (Basu) for all the mess.” Now that Jagga Jasoos has received an underwhelming response at the box office, Ranbir collaborating with the filmmaker once again poses a question mark. However, one filmmaker that Ranbir said he would love to work with again is Rajkumar Hirani, with whom he is currently shooting Dutt, the biopic of actor Sanjay Dutt.
