Ram Charan's Dhruva may not meet Dussehra release with Arvind Swamy falling ill

Telugu star Ram Charan is all set to entertain his fans with his upcoming film Dhruva. However, it looks like the film will not make it for its planned Dussehra release. The film, that is yet to complete its shoot, is now running behind schedule. A Bollywood Life report suggests that the delays have been caused with Arvind Swamy, who plays the villain’s role, falling sick. The Roja actor is now on the way to recovery and will be soon rejoining the shoot. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film will have Charan playing the role of a police inspector. Also starring Rakul Preet Singh, the film is an official remake of the Tamil film Thani Oruvan, that featured Jayam Ravi in the lead. The original film also had Swamy playing the negative role. Fans have found a reason to celebrate in this news as well. Many films are planning to release on Dussehra and by postponing the date Dhruva might avoid a major clash at the box office with films like Premam.

Good Thing about #Dhruva postponement is, as a solo release, more chances for $1mn than when clashing against OS friendly Premam.

Earlier when reports of a delay surfaced the producer Allu Arjun clarified that the film will release on the decided date, 7 October. The makers had released the first look of the film on 15 August to a great response from the fans.
