Hrithik Roshan’s father and actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan spoke about his son’s divorce and said Sussane Khan is still a member of their household

Hrithik Roshan tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart Sussane Khan after his blockbuster debut Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. However, the duo divorced after 14 years of marriage. They continued to co-parent their sons and remained cordial with each other.

Now, Hrithik’s father and actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan spoke about the divorce and said Sussane is still a member of their household.

“Whatever has happened has happened between the couple, for me Sussanne is Sussanne. They were the ones who fell in love, they were the ones who had a misunderstanding, and they have to solve it. For us, she came to our house, and she is still a member of the house,” Rakesh said while talking to Yuvaa.

In the same conversation, when Rakesh was asked does Hrithik ever discussed his relationships with him. The filmmaker said that they are more like friends and shared, “Hrithik and my daughter are a little scared of me. I don’t know, maybe because I am a well disciplined man. I am not a short tempered person, I am not a person who will scold anybody but I am very disciplined,” adding, “When they were little, they wouldn’t talk to me openly, now they do. Now we are like friends at home.”

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan is busy with War 2, which also stars Jr NTR and Kiara Advani in prominent roles. The film is produced under the banner of YRF and directed by Ayan Mukerji known for helming Wake Up Sid, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Brahmastra. It is set to hit the screens during the Independence Day weekend. The handsome hunk also has Krrish 4 under his belt.
