Rajj Rajj Ke: Akira's latest track crooned by Sonakshi shows her talented side

Akira’s track ‘Rajj Rajj Ke’ has released and Sonakshi Sinha fans can see her in a never before look. Fierce and power-packed, Sonakshi shines through the song. What’s more — she has even lent her voice for the number. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the song, just like the film brings out the fierce side of Sonakshi. The song has the actress in a violent avatar, breaking everything before her – human bones included. Prior to the release, the actress who has earlier sung for a music video ‘Aaj Mood Ishqholic Hai’ expressed her excitement on Twitter.

Reports suggest that it is not this version that will feature in the film, but another one sung by 14-year-old Naheed Afreen, of Indian Idol Junior fame. The show was judged by Sonakshi and since she liked her voice she asked her to sing playback for her in the film. Like Murugadoss’ earlier films, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty and Ghajini, Akira is also a remake of a Tamil film – Mouna Guru. The film, also starring Konkana Sen Sharma and Anurag Kashyap, will release on 2 September. Watch the song here:
