Here are all the trailers that dropped this week

Cinema Bandi

Filmmakers Raj and DK, through their initiative D2R Indie, are bankrolling a new Telugu film, Cinema Bandi. Helmed by debutant director Praveen Kandregula, the movie tells the story of an auto-rickshaw driver who stumbles upon a camera left behind by one of his customers. Armed with earnestness and enthusiasm, the driver sets out to make a film of his own on the basic principle that 'everyone is a filmmaker at heart'.

Cinema Bandi releases on 14 May.

Halston

Netflix has released a trailer for the limited series Halston, which stars Ewan McGregor as the titular American celebrity fashion designer and is set to premiere on 14 May. It follows the iconic fashion designer (McGregor), as he "leverages his single, invented name into a worldwide fashion empire that’s synonymous with luxury, sex, status and fame, literally defining the era he lives in, 1970’s and ‘80’s New York — until a hostile takeover forces him to battle for control of his most precious asset… the name Halston itself.”

Photo-Prem

Marathi drama Photo Prem, featuring veteran actor Neena Kulkarni, with Amita Khopkar and Sameer Dharamadhikari, will have a direct-to-digital release on 7 May on Amazon Prime Video. Directed and co-written by Aditya Rathi and Gayatri Patil, the film chronicles a housewife's (Kulkarni) journey to overcome her fear of cameras and click a perfect picture.

Ramyug

Streaming platform MX Player released the trailer of their upcoming series Ramyug, directed by Hum Tum fame Kunal Kohli. The series aims to retell the epic Ramayana with a touch of heavy CGI effects. Speaking about this, Kohli said in a press release, “The story of Rama has been retold by some of India’s greatest writers both in Sanskrit and regional languages. I am honoured to have been able to breathe life into this narrative for younger audiences on an unparalleled scale with the help of in-depth writing, VFX, visually appealing direction, editing and post-production efforts.”

Ramyug will begin streaming on MX Player from 6 May.

Hai Taubba

Hai Taubba is a new erotic Indian series on AltBalaji that will follow young couples across a broad spectrum as they deal with love and desires.

The series will begin streaming from 6 May.

The Misfits

The Misfits follows Brosnan's Richard Pace, an infamous yet respected international robber, who joins a merry gang of thieves in order to pull off the heist of the century: steal millions' worth of gold bars that are kept in the vaults under one of the world's most secure prisons in the Middle East.

Die Hard director Renny Harlin’s heist thriller also stars Hermione Corfield, Jamie Chung, Mike Angelo, Tim Roth and Nick Cannon. The film releases on 15 June.

Luca

Disney Pixar's Luca follows two boys — titular character Luca (Jacob Tremblay) and Alberto (Jack Dylan Glazer) — emerging from the sea and then turning into humans. Subsequently, they enjoy a memorable ‘human’ summer in a fictional quaint town called Portorosso on the Italian Riviera.

Directed by Enrico Casarosa, Luca streams on Disney+Hotstar Premium from 18 June
