Raid song 'Nit Khair Manga' featuring Ajay Devgn, Ileana D'Cruz is an upbeat reprise of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan classic
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's vocal texture in Raid song 'Nit Khair Manga' induces the correct amount of romance in the composition, much like the track 'Mere Rashke Qamar' from the 2017 film Baadshaho, which incidentally also featured Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'Cruz.

After 'Sanu Ek Pal Chain', Ajay Devgn-Ileana D'Cruz starrer Raid has released yet another soulful song. This track is a revival of an old number, originally sung by the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The new version has been sung by his nephew Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
Featuring the lead actors, the song is an upbeat number, and is set on a contemporary tempo, which makes the song a must-listen among other tracks released this year. It does bear the signature tune of 'Nit Khair Manga' in its chorus section.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's vocal texture induces the correct amount of romance in the composition, much like the track 'Mere Rashke Qamar' from the 2017 film Baadshaho, which incidentally also featured Devgn and D'Cruz. Of course, matching the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is quite impossible, but Rahat Fateh Ali Khan does a pleasant rendition.
The sufi love song has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi — who has many such reprise version to his credit — and the lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir.
Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid promises to be yet-another gripping tale after Aamir, No One Killed Jessica and Ghanchakkar. This time, Gupta ventures into the India of 1980s when cases of income tax raids were mushrooming in various parts of the country.
