Raid box office collection: Ajay Devgn starrer continues strong run beyond weekend, inches closer to Rs 50 cr mark
Ajay Devgn starrer Raid performed impressively over the weekend as it became the second highest weekend opener this year.

Ajay Devgn has always proved to be a big draw at the box-office, and his latest movie, Raid, seems to be treading along the same path.
The Ajay Devgn-Ileana D'Cruz-starrer Raid hit the theatres on 16 March. While the first day collection was a bit slow, the film struck a chord with audiences and has since experienced remarkable growth. The film has so far minted Rs 47.27 crore at the box office.

While the Raj Kumar Gupta directed movie collected a total of Rs 10.04 crore on Friday, it raked in Rs 13.86 crore and Rs 17.11 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. On Monday, Raid managed to make Rs 6.26 crore bringing it's total to Rs 47.27 crore. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter that the movie will sustain very well on weekdays.
Raid's performance over the weekend was impressive as it became the second highest weekend opener this year.

Raid will be facing some competition from Rani Mukerji's Hichki which is slated to release on 23rd March.
