It would not be wrong to say that fashion is going all the unconventional way, matching up to the current pop culture while also exploring multiple design techniques, both traditionally and contemporarily. At a time when unconventional and unexpected are fast becoming the norm in the world of fashion, actor Rahul Khanna was also seen pushing off the barricades as he joined the list of actors to sport a skirt. As a part of the clothing brand Cottonworld’s latest ad campaign, the actor donned a blue denim skirt with style as he posed confidently in front of the camera. Khanna took to his Instagram pictures and shared the photos of himself as he continues to remain the face of Cottonworld’s ‘New Comfort’ campaign. In the pictures, while the actor wore a midi denim skirt, he completed the look with a plain white tee alongwith black shoes. “There’s no skirting it—l’m unapologetically stoked to be the face of Cotton World Live’s new comfort campaign!”, the caption read. Many including actors like Dia Mirza , Malaika Arora, and Lisa Ray took to the comment section and appreciated his new look. Dia Mirza dropped a heart emoji, while Malaika wrote, “How comfy !???? Airy ???” “Commando?”, Lisa Ray wrote. On the other hand, fans added comments like “The best ever advertisement for air-conditioning”, “Only disappointed because this isn’t a mini skirt!”, “If women can wear men’s clothing like pants and shirts then it should be ok for men also to wear women’s clothing like saree, skirts etc”, “Still better than Balenciagas towel skirt!”, etc. Notably, this is not the first time that the actor has teamed up with the clothing brand. Earlier this year, Rahul Khanna lent his voice to a film that was launched by the brand as a part of its comfort trilogy campaign titled ‘Be Comfortable With Uncomfortable’. The film was said to be set to be a homage to the pursuit of authenticity and celebration of one’s collective journey towards self-discovery and empowerment. While the actor was a perfect representation of an individual for the campaign that speaks strongly for comfort in one’s own skin, the video featured individuals, living life on their own terms.
