Radhika Apte joins the long list of celebrities that are trolled for wearing the clothes of their choice

Add another name to the list of celebrities that have been trolled for the clothes they wear.

Radhika Apte is the latest name in the never-ending list of notable figures that have been shamed for wearing certain types of clothing. For Apte however, the wrath of the general public was directed towards the fact that the actor put up a picture of herself in a bikini.. at the beach. Gasp. Oh, the horror! However, Apte being the bad*ss that she is had a befitting response for the trolls. “I didn’t even know I was being trolled till someone told me. It’s ridiculous! Do people expect me to wear a sari on a beach? I don’t know them (the trolls), so I don’t deal with them,” said the actor, according to a DNA report. Image from Twitter/@MovieTalkies[/caption] Apte joins the plush ranks of Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Fatima Sana Shaikh amongst others who have previously been shamed for wearing the attire of their choice (because these strong, independent, fierce woman need the approval of the faceless trolls of the interwebz to dress how they want, obviously). Incidentally, 8 March (yesterday) was International Women’s Day. Sigh. We’re just waiting for the day when we can stop writing articles like these.
