Radhika Apte, Akshay Oberoi's Bombairiya to release on 18 January, announces new film poster

Bombairiya makers recently released the first poster of the film, which will hit theatres on 18 January, 2019. Directed by Pia Sukanya, the film features Radhika Apte, Siddhanth Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, Adil Hussain, Ajinkya Deo, Ravi Kishan and Shilpa Shukla. The poster depicts a confused Apte sporting a Mexican hat. The Mumbai skyline encircles all the characters in the image.

Apte will play the role of Meghna, a public relations executive in the forthcoming film, produced by Michael Ward and directed by the debutante. Apte reportedly sported an unconventional ensemble for the film which required her to pair up saris with sneakers. “Radhika is a great collaborator. She and Pia decided on a shorter hairstyle to create the character of Meghna. She even introduced us to Clover, a British hair and makeup designer working in Bollywood like me, and they came up with a modern urban look that also conceals a mystery,” Ward had said in a statement, on the look of the 33-year-old actress.
