R Madhavan is splitting image of Nambi Narayanan in first look of his directorial debut Rocketry: The Nambi Effect

Actor R Madhavan seems all set to start filming his directorial debut Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The film will focus on the works of Indian Space and Research Organisation (ISRO) scientist Nambi Narayanan. In a recent post, Madhavan is seen sporting a look almost akin to Narayanan’s doppelganger. With silver white hair and beard, the actor looked a spitting image of the noted scientist. Madhavan shared the images on social media.

Madhavan also serves as the director of the film, after co-director Ananth  Mahadevan walked out of the project. The actor confirmed the news stating that Ananth had to depart from the film owing to “unavoidable circumstances and pressing commitments”. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect portrays Narayanan’s journey, who was wrongly accused of espionage in 1994. It will hit theatres in Tamil, English and Hindi later this year. The makers have finalised Simran to play the female lead in the film.
