Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been on the roll for the last few years! With her appearances in Hollywood shows and movies, the actress has emerged as a global icon. The actress does not believe in resting on her laurels and in a testament to the same, she recently announced her next Hollywood outing in which she will star alongside Kar Urban. Priyanka’s upcoming entertainer, titled ‘The Bluff’, will be streaming on Prime Video.

Priyanka, on Saturday morning, announced the project through a social media post that included a news piece and a short note that read, “Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates. (Mark Twain).”

Notably, Frank E. Flowers has come on board to direct The Bluff. The director is popular among the audience for co-writing the hit film Bob Marley: One Love. The film grossed over $120 million worldwide.

Soon after the announcement by Priyanka Chopra, her husband, Nick Jonas, also reshared the post on his Instagram handle. Tagging The Sky Is Pink actress, he wrote added fire emojis.

Coming back to the film, The Bluff’s official synopsis, as per the Deadline, reads, “Set in the 19th-century Caribbean, The Bluff follows a former female pirate (Priyanka) who must protect her family when the mysterious sins of her past catch up to her.” As the film is heading for its production phase, the makers are planning to shoot it in Australia. Additionally, it will be bankrolled by AGBO’s Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Michael Disco; Cinestar Pictures’ Cisely Saldana; and Mariel Saldana.

Earlier a few days back, Priyanka Chopra took charge as an executive producer for the Oscar-nominated documentary To Kill A Tiger. The news of her becoming the executive producer for the film came alongside Netflix’s announcement to secure its global distribution rights. On the acting front, Priyanka will also be seen in a couple of Hollywood projects including Head of State with John Cena and Citadel 2.
