Watch: Kanan Gill, Biswa Kalyan Rath's hilarious take on teen pregnancy and sex

Kanan Gill and Biswa Kalyan Rath’s ‘Pretentious Movie Reviews’ are back to pick a bone with another Bollywood movie. This time it’s the Preity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan starrer Kya Kehna.

Kya Kehna is a movie on teenage pregnancy, and it was released in 2000. So it’s quite safe to say that the average Indian cinema goer was awkwardly squirming in his/her seat in the theatre at the time.

Kanan Gill and Biswa Kalyan Rath, in their video ‘Most Pregnancy Ever’, relive that discomfort while making fun of the film.

They also nail down how Indian parents react to pregnancy, or for that matter anything related to sex – by changing the topic.

And how can the music be spared, especially when it’s been “composed” by Rajesh Roshan? They compare almost every song in the film to their original source of inspiration, which ofcourse are obscure English songs.

“Good artists copy, great artists: coincidence,” said the duo in the video, and we couldn’t agree more.

The video also makes fun of how Bollywood has portrayed sex over the ages, be it the touching of flowers, or hands intertwining behind a tree. Watch out for a cameo by Tanmay Bhat from AIB, and other regular comedians from the contemporary comedy scene.

But more than sex, pregnancy, the music of Kya Kehna and Preity Zinta, what fascinated the duo most was was Saif Ali Khan’s name, which was Rahul Modi.
