Prem's back! Salman in Bollywood's 'longest song' ever for Barjatya's next

Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya have worked together in 3 blockbuster films: Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hai Kaun and Hum Saath Saath Hai. A large part of the first half of these films include tedious introductory sequences. For example, Hum Saath Saath Hai has a long musical-like sequence introducing a new bride to all the family members. Reuters.[/caption] Clearly, length - of a film or a song - is not something Sooraj Barjatya worries about too much. Barjatya’s new film is all set to bear testimony to the fact. According to reports, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Barjatya’s new film will have a song that is 13 minutes long. Starring Sonam Kapoor and bhai himself, a report by DNA has revealed that the film has a 13 minute long song that allegedly “takes the story ahead.” The song features Salman playing football. “There is a 13-minute song in PRDP, which I have choreographed for. It is the longest song in Bollywood ever,” said choereographer Ahmed Khan, according to DNA. He rubbishes rumours of it being a part of a larger antakshari scene (a specialty of Sooraj Barjatya films) or a medley either (another specialty). “Salman will be seen playing football at a marriage ceremony. He has danced in the song in a different attire altogether. He will be dancing in kurta and pyjamas and the entire feel and vibe of the song is totally different. There’s a unique magic to the number,” Khan added. This isn’t the first record the director-actor duo hold. Hum Apke Hai Kaun had a total of 14 songs in their soundtrack, making it the highest number in any Bollywood film. Football for 13 mins? Nothing Salman Khan can’t handle.
