Nusli Wadia has alleged that a don warned Wadia to “back off or business will be targeted.” The complaints by Wadia come amid a furore over an FIR filed by actress Preity Zinta against his son, Ness Wadia, saying that he had abused her in public and ‘outraged her modesty’ and slandered her reputation. Preity had made the complaint in relation to an incident inside Mumbai’s Wankhede stadium during an IPL match between Kings XI Punjab and the Chennai Super Kings. In her complaint letter to the Mumbai police, Preity had alleged her ex-boyfriend Ness Wadia molested her on numerous occasions and she had even sent him an email asking him not to degrade her in this way. In response, Ness had issued a statement saying, “I am shocked at the complaint and the allegations made against me and they were totally false and baseless.”
