Pranav Mohanlal's debut film Aadi goes on floors; won't feature a romantic angle

Pranav Mohanlal’s maiden Malayalam film Aadi went on the floors on 1 August and the first schedule will be shot in Nedumbassery, according to director Jeethu Joseph. The principal shooting should be wrapped up by October. Originally, we had planned for Christmas release but now I doubt if it will be able to come out on time. We have post-production and VFX work so it will take time,” Joseph said. Also starring Siddique, Sharafudheen, Siju Wilson, Anusree, Aditi Ravi and Lena, the film doesn’t feature a romantic track. “Although there are female characters, you won’t find a romantic track. Pranav doesn’t have a love interest in the film,” he said. According to a report by newindianexpress.com, the director has also informed that while Anusree, Aditi Ravi and Lena are part of the film, they won’t have any romantic angle with Pranav. Actor Sunny Wayne was also reportedly roped in, but citing issues with dates he had to back out from the film. Pranav who plays the titular character, Aadi in the film, has taken special lessons in the obstacle training form - Parkour - for the movie, reports newindianexpress.com. The film is being produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. (With inputs from IANS)
