Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are currently the talk of the town as the duo are set to exchange wedding vows on 23rd June. While the actress’ father Shatrughan Sinha has sealed his lips on this news, veteran actress Poonam Dhillon has confirmed the wedding of the Dabangg actress and said that she has received a lovely invitation.
“I wish Sonakshi all the very best. She has sent a lovely invitation. I have known her since she was a little girl. I have seen her entire journey. I pray to God she stays happy. She is a lovely warm very loving girl. So I wish her all the joy and happiness. Please keep her happy, Zaheer. She is a lovely girl. She is precious for all of us,” said Poonam while talking to Instant Bollywood.
As per Zoom, the couple will have a registered marriage on June 23, followed by a wedding party. A friend of the actress said, “I have received an invitation to celebrate with the couple on the evening of June 23. From what I know, they have already gone through a registered marriage, or may do so on the morning of June 23. But there’s not going to be any elaborative wedding as such, just a party.”
A user on Reddit recently leaked the couple’s audio invite for their wedding . “To all our hip, tech-savvy, and jasoos (detective) friends and family who have managed to land on this page, hi!,” Khan can be heard saying in the leaked clip.
He added, “For the last seven years that we have been together, all the joy, love, laughter, and many, many adventures have led us this moment.”
As per the leaked invite, the party will take place at Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s restaurant Bastian in Mumbai. The dress code for the evening is formal and festive.
