After movies like Beast, Acharya, Radhe Shyam, and Coolie, actress Pooja Hegde has come on board for another south Indian biggie that stars Dulquer Salmaan opposite her, tentatively tilted DQ41. The makers have made an official announcement on X.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Pooja Hegde was quoted saying, “When it started, my mom was really upset by reading stuff. But I used to take it as a compliment, because I think that if somebody feels the need to pull you down, you’re above them. Also, I genuinely think that Karma is a thing, and whatever you put out there, good or bad, comes back.”

The actress added, “There are followers, and today its great to influence people on what you say and to reach out to them and in that way. But they are not translating to tickets. People who are paying money and watching are the real ones I need to worry about.”

“When you are not from the industry, it’s not just about whether the audience gives you a chance, but whether the industry does. Every film becomes crucial because I don’t have someone producing films for me or reassuring me that even if one doesn’t work out, they’ll make the next one for me. You get fewer opportunities; I’ve built my career by constantly hustling,” shared Pooja Hegde .
