PM Narendra Modi biopic: Vivek Oberoi gets trolled on Twitter for his role in upcoming film

The first look poster of upcoming biopic  PM Narendra Modi with Vivek Oberoi in the title role and _Mary Kom’_s Omung Kumar as the director was released on 7 January. Twitterati has reacted to the poster in which Oberoi sports a prosthetic nose, white hair and rimless glasses.

While most disagreed that the actor only vaguely resembled Modi, some wondered whether it was a spoof.

The first look poster was launched in 23 languages by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. According to a Bollywood Hungama  report , the film is going to be shot extensively in several parts of the country, from Modi’s hometown in Gujarat to Delhi, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh, the first schedule of will begin in mid-January.
