Pitch Perfect 3 trailer: Misfits of the acapella world are back, but this time they're funnier

The acapella misfits are back, for the third time. Two years after the highly-successful Pitch Perfect 2, the Barden Bellas are back, and having graduated, they’re taking their talents on the road — more specifically, on the USO tour in Europe. Image via Twitter.[/caption] From the looks of things in this trailer, however, not much else has changed for the core group of singers. Alot of buzz was generated mainly because of the chemistry between the main cast members, led by Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson. The plot, for the most part, has little to do with them outside of giving them places to sing it all out in a variety of styles, make for some funny intermingling within the ranks, and occasionally indulge in some competition with other singers and flirtations with a few fellas. The film stars Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Alexis Knapp, Hana Mae Lee, Ester Dean, Chrissie Fit, Kelley Jakle, Shelley Regner, John Lithgow, John Michael Higgins, and Elizabeth Banks. What are the highlights of the trailer? Since Aubrey (Anna Camp) is featured heavily in the trailer, it looks like this fan-favourite character has a bigger role. There’s more of Brittany Snow, Hailee Steinfeld, Elizabeth Banks, and John Michael Higgins. But this trailer looks like it is missing out on the men from the first two films, with no sign of Jesse (Skylar Astin), Benjie (Ben Platt), or Bumper (Adam Devine).
