Suraj Sharma is not the only one freaking out at Anushka Sharma's ghost staring at him. The friendly ghost has added Shah Rukh Khan to the list as well.

In a bid to promote her upcoming production, Anshai Lal's directorial debut Phillauri, Anushka penetrated the walls of Mannat, the palatial residence of Khan, and introduced him to her ghost Shashi.

Khan, who has played a ghost in Amol Palekar's 2005 film Paheli, was spelling out the tricks to his fans on orchestrating a horror scene on screen before he was taken aback by a mysterious female voice calling him out. Khan was bewildered and asked Shashi to show up. But since Shashi is an invisible ghost, she failed to present herself before him.

When Khan asked him about the purpose of her visit, she confessed that she is an avid buff of the actor and just wanted to see him in close proximity. After blushing for a while, Khan played along and even kissed her. He also promised her that he will watch Phillauri in order to get to know Shashi better.

Anushka plays a friendly ghost in Phillauri who has an unfinished business in her past life but is stuck inside a tree and then in holy matrimony with Suraj who 'marries the tree' because he is a maanglik. It is quite an innovative move on Anushka's part to rope in her longtime co-star Shah Rukh Khan to promote the film in such a unique way.

Khan was the lead actor of Anushka's debut film, Aditya Chopra's 2008 romantic drama Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. They also shared screen space in Yash Chopra's 2012 Jab Tak Hai Jaan and will also be seen in Imtiaz Ali's untitled film this August.

Phillauri also stars Diljit Dosanjh and is produced by Anushka and her brother Karnesh Sharma's Clean Slate Films. It is slated to release on 24 March.
