Oscars 2018: Priyanka Chopra reveals why she couldn't make it for Hollywood's big night

We have seen Priyanka Chopra at the Oscars for the last two years but this year, the star was a no-show. Her fans were left disappointed after not seeing Priyanka anywhere at the 90th Academy Awards. Though Priyanka Chopra was not invited as a presenter this year, her fans were hoping to see her on the red carpet as the actress is still a member of the Academy.

Priyanka did provide the reason behind her absence from the year's biggest awards ceremony night through an Instagram story.

Priyanka made two red carpet appearances, one in 2016 and the other in 2017, at the Academy Awards. The actress stunned everyone on both occasions. She also made her Hollywood movie debut with Dwayne Johnson in Baywatch. She will next be seen with Claire Danes and Jim Parsons in A Kid Like Jake, and with Rebel Wilson in Isn’t It Romantic.

Even Victoria and Abdul star Ali Fazal did not attend the Oscars ceremony with Richa Chadha. He was, however, invited by the Academy for a special panel discussion on costume and make-up in movies on Sunday. They also attended the after-party, as can be guessed from Fazal's Twitter account.
